YouNite: Working with Expectations (FREE)

Do you put a lot of pressure on yourself?

Can you remember a time when you didn’t?

Expectations can be tough. Many of us set the bar very high for ourselves. That’s great until it begins to make us feel exhausted, empty, and alone.

With practice, we can learn to separate expectations from ourselves and see them for what they are. Then we can make healthier decisions about when to listen to those expectations and when to let them go.

Self-examination can be tough, but the PLAY Polarities make it fun and collaborative.

YouNites are opportunities to learn and grow in a collaborative atmosphere. These events are the most fun you can have while working on tough things.

For two hours on July 28th, you can make an investment in your own future by learning about the PLAY Polarities Ecosystem of Expectations, a new model for understanding the stories we tell ourselves, how to listen to them differently, and how to write new ones.

YouNites use a mix of improvisational and other exercises from the arts to stimulate personal reflection and dialogue about our self-improvement journeys. Each YouNite is hosted by Matt Elwell, who uses humor and facilitation to make the evening the perfect blend of enjoyment and exploration.
